The American Club has a classic approach to the holidays, offering old-school events like brunch-time visits with Santa for kids, caroling, ornament decorating sessions and carriage rides through Kohler’s streets and lanes, which are beautifully illuminated with thousands of glowing white lights. We love visiting the hotel this time of year. The cozy village setting is the perfect backdrop for enjoying a simple holiday break. If you’re visiting the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel in early December or over New Year’s Eve, be sure to inquire about tickets to The American Club’s festive annual Christmas and New Year’s fetes (the latter includes a large dinner-dance). The resort also hosts the annual Wisconsin Holiday Market, featuring arts and crafts by local and national artisans, in mid-November. Holiday packages are available. If you’re visiting during the spring, the hotel offers a fantastic Easter package that includes Easter egg decorating, an egg hunt, story time, a lavish buffet and more.
