If you get hungry during a round of golf at the 18-hole, 7,042-yard Wynn Golf Club, make a pit stop at The Tee Shop. Conveniently located right on the course, The Tee Shop offers a variety of snacks such as granola bars, potato chips, ice cream bars and refreshing fruit smoothies. Our Forbes Travel Guide editors also enjoyed the selection of freshly prepared sandwiches: our favorites are one made with juicy prime rib and horseradish, as well as a hot-pressed chipotle cheddar chicken panino. If you’re thirsty for an adult beverage or two, the shop also stocks domestic and imported beers, as well as rum, tequila, vodka, whiskey and cognac. Note, too, that your golf cart will be stocked with non-alcoholic refreshments, including bottled water and sports drinks.
The Country Club, located right next to the golf course, serves delicious Cajun-inspired steakhouse fare for lunch and dinner. Yummy light appetizers include a chef’s gumbo made with Andouille sausage, shrimp and crawfish, as well as grilled sugar cane-skewered shrimp served with a red chile-chayote slaw. Lunch dishes include creative takes on traditional sandwiches, salads and burgers, such as the smoked chipotle burger topped with green chiles and jalapeño jack cheese, and served with a side of Parmesan truffle potato chips. Dinner offerings are dominated by plates of fresh seafood, chops and specialty steaks, including a succulent 16-ounce Creole-spiced bison rib eye.
