What are the guest rooms like at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas?

Answers from Our Experts (2)

The suites at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas blend modern sophistication with playful intrigue thanks to a simple color palette of tan, black and white, floor-to-ceiling windows and idiosyncratic details. Furnishings within the rooms reflect the hotel’s unique aesthetic, but we will still call them contemporary (a textured white sofa or blond nightstands with a psychedelic pattern). Gold accents are used throughout the rooms in everything from lamps to picture frames. Some rooms have a houndstooth accent wall, which we hear is Steve Wynn’s favorite pattern. Others have small accessories (a tray, for example) done in houndstooth. This masculine touch masterfully juxtaposes the blond wooden furniture and all the gold accents. Some rooms also feature a solid wall of floor-to-ceilings mirrors, which is as glamorous as being backstage at a Las Vegas-only show. Throughout the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel's rooms, you’ll notice minimalist modern paintings, sometimes done in black and white and of women’s faces, and others featuring blocks of color.

The rooms at Encore Las Vegas — designed by Todd-Avery Lenahan, principal of Tal Studio — feature a distinctive custom design created exclusively for Wynn that evokes timeless beauty, comfort, intimacy and innovation.

The room palette features striking contemporary profiles of lacquered ebony surrounding polished white sycamore millwork and houndstooth wall covering. With a division between the bedroom and sitting room, the open-plan suites offer views of the Las Vegas skyline throughout the room via expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. Each guest suite also contains the largest flat-screen television used in any standard guestroom in the U.S.

Rooms and suites come in a range of sizes (from 700 to 745 square feet) and have floor-to-ceiling windows, Wynn signature beds with European linens, 42- or 46-inch flat-panel televisions featuring on-demand movies, state-of-the-art office equipment, one-touch climate control, a fully stocked mini-bar and in-room safes.

Bathrooms include 19-inch flat-screen televisions, dual sinks, sitting areas with lighted vanity mirrors, separate shower and soaking tub and separate water closets with telephones. You’ll also find signature Wynn Resorts robes and slippers. (Connecting rooms are available.)
