Enjoying all of what Las Vegas has to offer might make you consider spending some time at the gym during your stay at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas. Despite the calorie-burning nightclub dance parties, all of the fabulous food and booze could quite possibly get the best of you. Retreat to Encore’s spa level and you’ll find the hotel’s spacious and fully stocked gym. When you walk in, you’ll notice the staffed check-in desk, which is where you can grab free newspapers, apples and bottles of water before you pump some iron. Large linen and black pendant lamps hover over all of the machines — and there’s a ton of them to go around. Use one of the many treadmills along the fully mirrored wall or try the sitting bikes, elliptical trainers, free weights and Cybex weight training machines. There’s also a fully devoted area for using mats and exercise balls if low-intensity strength training is what you’re after. Everything at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel’s gym, including the exercise equipment, is quite clean — gym attendants wipe down machines in between use and fresh towels are provided. Before or after your workout, hit up the juice bar, which is located within the gym, for some juice, coffee, elixir tonics or Cliff bars.
The Spa at Encore features a lavishly equipped, state-of-the-art fitness center with a variety of workout equipment and two movement studios with weekly yoga and Pilates classes. Equipment includes treadmills, elliptical trainers, recumbent and upright bikes, free weights and a variety of strength-training equipment.
