While Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Skylofts at MGM Grand doesn’t have its own pool, guests have access to some of the best fun under the sun Las Vegas-style at the MGM Grand Pool Complex.
The MGM Grand Pool Complex includes five swimming pools and three whirlpools, as well as a relaxing lazy river. The pool area was designed to look like an exotic paradise full of bridges, fountains, waterfalls and private cabanas for rent. Cabanas are comfortable and intimate, with private patios, 32-inch TVs, a mini fridge, towel service and complimentary pool tubes, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. The pool complex is bumping from February through November, the most popular time to take a dip. During that time, most of the pools are open daily for guests. Though don’t worry if you visit the Las Vegas hotel in the off-season; MGM keeps at least one pool open year round.
Skylofts guests also have complimentary access to Wet Republic, MGM Grand’s exclusive club-style pool area, which has a sexy, South Beach kind of vibe and includes saltwater pools, spas and VIP bungalows. Soak up the sun from a comfortable daybed or oversized chaise lounge or dance the afternoon away sipping cocktails on the huge sun deck, which doubles as a stage and is frequented by DJs, entertainers and celebrities. It’s one of the hottest pool parties in Las Vegas.
