Even though there isn’t a specific jogging route near Wynn Las Vegas, you can choose to truly live up the Vegas experience by running down the Strip. But be careful. Though the sidewalks are meant to guide large groups of pedestrians, a collision with one of those animated Vegas tourists could lead to an experience you’d rather forget — or an unfortunate face plant. To avoid the crowds — except for nightclub patrons returning to parking garages or taxi ports) — start off by 6 a.m. This is especially important in the summer when temperatures can reach 100 F by 11 a.m. A few local running groups are known to start on the south end of the Strip near the WELCOME TO FABULOUS LAS VEGAS sign, navigate the pedestrian bridges and then circle back at the CityCenter crossing at Harmon Avenue. For more temperate workout conditions, try visiting the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel’s gym for a run on the treadmill. Inside, you can watch TV and help yourself to chilled water so you don’t need to stop for a slurp at the Fountains of Bellagio.
