The main New Year’s Eve party at Wynn Las Vegas in 2012 was just like you would expect from the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel: elegant and extremely entertaining. Taking place in the Lafite Ballroom from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m., the hotel’s big bash featured Dom Pérignon, an open bar and food from six of the hotel’s restaurants, including Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star restaurants The Country Club and Sinatra. Guests danced the night away to tracks spun by DJ Rodney while experiencing other celebrations around the world on jumbo screens.
Tickets to the Wynn Las Vegas New Year’s Eve Dinner Party cost $500 per person and were inclusive of well drinks, Dom Pérignon, prix-fixe menu items, tax and gratuity.
Elsewhere at Wynn and the adjacent Four-Star Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, the properties’ nightclubs threw separate New Year’s Eve parties. After a weekend-long lineup of celebrity DJs at all three clubs, December 31 brought Eric Prydz to Surrender, Avicii to XS and Lil Jon to Tryst.
For a low-key night — or a prelude to the big bash — guests headed to the New Year’s Eve showing of Le Rêve at the Wynn Theater.
