When you enter the locker room areas at Canyon Ranch SpaClub at The Venetian & The Palazzo, you’ll pass from the front desk to an internal desk, one for men and one for women, where you’ll be asked what size sandals you’d like. You’re then issued a pair of black-and-clear rubber Zendals, which are more like flip-flops than slippers; their insoles feel sort of like suction cups that massage your soles. You’ll be taken to your locker, which opens and closes with a magnetic key; inside you’ll find a tan robe with white piping. The robes feel thick, but not too heavy, with a white linen lining. The robes do a more than adequate job of covering you up, so you should feel comfortable walking around in nothing but the robe and sandals throughout the locker rooms and relaxation areas — and even in the co-ed salt grotto, conservatory and wave room. And be sure to check those amenities out, too — there’s a lot more to the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star spa than your standard sauna and steam room.
The robes are plush, soft and warm. The slippers are therapeutic and comfortable.
