The relaxation area in Canyon Ranch SpaClub at The Venetian & The Palazzo gives you all the facilities you need to kick back and unwind before your appointment; immediately past the locker rooms, you’ll find a few seating options. One area, cordoned off partially by an etched-glass wall, offers four chaise lounges with reading lamps where you can relax and read, naturally. The main room adjacent to the reading area provides more amenities, with a semicircle of leather chairs and end tables centered around a flat-screen TV on one side, while the other side of the room holds a coffee table with reading materials and another semicircle of chairs around the central table. There you’ll also be able to choose from a variety of fruits such as apples, oranges and bananas, resting in a bowl.
And if you’re in need of a drink, just past that part of the relaxation area — before you get into the hallway with treatment rooms — you’ll see a countertop with a number of refreshments such as coffee, water and, when we were there, cranberry tea. The relaxation area at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star spa furnishes enough refreshments and seats to help you fill those precious minutes before and after any treatment; we suggest you opt to hit the wet areas of the spa first, have a quick rinse in the shower, then unwind in the relaxation area for a few minutes before you get a massage or other treatment.
Warm tones and soothing lighting illuminate the locker room, relaxation areas and co-ed conservatory.
