The Spa at Encore Las Vegas

VERIFIED LUXURY
The wow factor is certainly in play at The Spa at Encore Las Vegas. This ritzy rejuvenation center carries Encore's Asian theme further with glowing gold lanterns, life-size Buddhas and blossoming orchids.

The expansive reception area looks like the lobby of a luxury hotel rather than a sterile spa environment (with plenty of pillow-laden couches for lounging), while the locker rooms are unusually bright and airy. The separate men's and women's spaces are sprawling in size, with large saunas and steam rooms, as well as just about any amenity you might need to refresh post-treatment.

The onsite salon offers everything from manicures and pedicures to cuts and colors, as well as a full menu of traditional barbershop services. You can also buy a day pass and enjoy all of the outrageous amenities of the spa without a treatment.

Our Inspector's Highlights
  • Sometimes Las Vegas can be a bit much, even for the most avid visitor, which is why The Spa at Encore Las Vegas tries to create a tranquil escape from the outside world.
  • There is certainly plenty to delight the eyes, with the spa's blend of Moroccan, French and Buddhist-inspired design.
  • The Sin City spa aims to pair the visual stimulation of its beautiful design with the tactile sensations provided by the globally-inspired treatments. In perfect harmony with the décor – the menu includes exotic services like the Moroccan Mud Wrap and the Shirodhara renewal.
  • The spa menu has a variety of creative and unique treatments that are made extra luxurious with the use of premium products like Barcelona-based skincare brand, Natura Bissé – offering a nice departure from the standard Swedish or hot stone services.
  • One of the best parts of having a treatment at Encore spas is learning about all sorts of rejuvenating skin and body products. The shop sells all of your favorites, allowing you to continue the pampering at home.
Things to Know
  • The best way to book a spa treatment or salon visit is to simply dial the concierge directly. If you’re staying at Encore, you can visit the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa any day of the week from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Non-resort guests can visit the Las Vegas spa on Monday through Thursday for a little R&R. Depending on availability, you can sometimes snag a weekend appointment even if you’re not staying at Encore, but it depends on availability.
  • We have been able to score a same-day appointment with no trouble on a weekday. However, if you’re trying to book a treatment for the weekend, it’s best to try and call in advance and not rely on the concierge’s last-minute magic.
  • The popular spa will charge you a fee if you don’t call to cancel at least six hours before your appointment.
  • To maintain tranquility for yourself and fellow spa guests, the spa asks that upon your arrival at the spa you turn off, or at least silence, your cell phones, cameras and other devices.
The Treatments
  • The Good Luck Ritual is The Spa at Encore Las Vegas' signature treatment, designed around the Chinese elements to bring you happiness and prosperity. The service combines a Fusion massage, a foot treatment, moisturizing hand therapy and a scalp treatment to leave you feeling loose and, hopefully, lucky.
  • You can get all the benefits of exfoliating in a less invasive treatment with the Signature Ling Triple Peel Facial. Your pores will still feel freshened by the deep-cleansing vitamins and nutrients, and if you choose the 80-minute version, you'll get a finishing rice mask that will make your skin glow.
  • Moroccan Mud Wraps use high quality rhassoul clay to transport you to Morocco while your clay cocoon hydrates your skin. When you’re rinsed off, your therapist will lather warm argan oil onto your skin and hair for added softness and shine.
  • The most comprehensive treatment at the Las Vegas spa is the Encore Escape ritual, which includes a mix of hot stones, stretching and lomi-lomi techniques as well as herbal infused poultice bags, a wrap and a scalp massage with Shirodhara oils.
  • Head, Hands and Feet renewals focus on your most overworked parts, using hot towels and pressure points to relax your tired hands and feet before going on to a face, neck and scalp massage.
The Facilities
  • Head to the large wet area after your treatment and sprawl out on the curved stone chaise lounges. They may not sound comfortable, but the smooth, heated stones will easily lull you to sleep.
  • After your nap, wake yourself up with a dip in the wet area’s two spacious rectangular Jacuzzis or the plunge pools. We recommend scheduling in at least an hour to hang out here.
  • Chill out in the peaceful relaxation lounge for as long as you like after your service. The relaxation area drowns out the outside world; walls are all draped in thick floor-to-ceiling teal curtains with a silver damask print.
