In April 2013, Falling Rock at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort announced that it would be expanding its operating dates from May through October to year-round — which is big news for couples and families looking for a luxurious holiday season getaway. The rest of the resort has always fully embraced the holiday season, with plenty of festivities to enjoy at Falling Rock's sister hotels. From live music in the lobby and holiday carolers cheerfully strolling the 2,000-acre estate, to gingerbread house workshops and visits from Santa Claus himself, Nemacolin’s festive spirit truly comes alive in November, December and January. Kids will especially love this resort’s holiday experiences, which include nightly tuck-ins from one of Santa’s elves, fireside storytelling and holiday movie marathons.
If you’re considering visiting the resort for New Year’s Eve, be sure to take advantage of the special tasting menu and wine pairings at Lautrec, or dance the night away with live DJs at The Tavern.
