In addition to people staying at the resort, golfers playing a round at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort’s Mystic Rock course also use the locker rooms, so they’re larger and more impressive than those attached to the small gym at Falling Rock at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.
Locker rooms at this luxury hotel have private shower and toilet areas, and are stocked with the same Gilchrist & Soames bath products provided in all guest rooms and suites. The men’s locker room is particularly impressive, with dark wood lockers, flat-screen TV, pool table, dining area and arcade games — you might feel like you’re in a cozy gentlemen’s club, not a locker room. At night, it’s transformed into a happening co-ed hangout space where you can order drinks, eat snacks, play games and mingle with other guests.
Falling Rock consists of two separate men’s and women’s locker rooms, both located near the Mystic Rock Pro Shop, business center and fitness room. Falling Rock’s Locker Rooms boast private shower and toilet areas, individual lockers and all of the bath amenities guests find in their guestrooms.
Though both were designed with the same “Wrightian” integrity as the rest of the hotel, each has its own personality. The women’s locker room is a peaceful sanctuary with quiet sitting area, board games, reading material and television. Adjacent to this sitting area is a private outdoor mediation garden, complete with a soothing water feature. The women’s locker room was arranged with the comfort of lady on the go’ in mind, offering a number of separate vanity areas.
The men’s locker room is a true 'man den' complete with a dining area, oversized flat screen TV, and pool table, as well as board and arcade games. It offers its own balcony area and stairs leading directly to the Mystic Rock starting area. But, the men’s locker room is not just for the men. In the evenings, once golf rounds have ended, this locker room opens into a co-ed lounge where butlers and bartenders can deliver food and beverage service.
