If you’re bringing your kids along with you to Falling Rock at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, Aqueous is the best dining option for your family. Located just off the lobby of the hotel, this restaurant is more casual during breakfast and lunch, but we’ve still seen families here during the evening dinner hours — and the staff were happy to accommodate the kids. Separate menus for kids are available for breakfast and dinner.

For a truly kid-friendly restaurant, venture to the center of Nemacolin Woodlands Resort to PJ’s, a colorful 50s-style pizzeria and ice-cream parlor serving classic American favorites such as banana splits, root beer floats, delicious pizzas and salads. Kids will love sitting in the automobile booths, and there’s also a soda fountain open on the weekends and during the summer.

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort features a restaurant collection complete with four fine dining options, eleven casual dining options and seven bars and lounges. If our guests are looking for a more casual experience that their entire family will enjoy, the following dining options may best define a family-dining experience:

Tavern, our traditional English pub is a frequent gathering spot, with four authentic 19th Century Brunswick billiard tables and the world’s largest freestanding circular saltwater aquarium for guests to enjoy. Located near the Adventure Center and Mini-Golf is the CaddyShack restaurant features a Smoke House and Rotisserie all in the practice of preparing you with the perfect barbeque bite. The Sundial Lodge is a unique entertainment emporium, which offers a wide range of activities including 8 lanes of bowling, an indoor climbing wall, 65+ arcade games and pool tables. It's also the home of the ski activities and Apex, a casual bar and restaurant offering great views of Mystic Mountain. Kids ages 1-91 also enjoy PJ’s Ice Cream Parlor, a 1950’s style ice cream parlor featuring old fashioned ice cream, floats and banana splits. PJ’s is conveniently located near the Tavern and the Kidz Club.

Seasonal outlets include the Gazebo and Paradise Pool. The Gazebo is located across from the Links Pro Shop on the Links Course and offers breakfast and lunch daily with some of the most spectacular views of the Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia mountains. Outdoor summer dining can be enjoyed at Paradise Pool. Splash around in the pool then delight in a salad, wrap or sandwich, but remember - thirty minutes before you get back in the pool.

All these family-dining options are casual attire and do not require reservations.
