The room service menu at 45 Park Lane is international in flavor, ensuring appetites of all kinds can be satisfied. The all-day dining menu includes such starters as Austrian oxtail bouillon with bone marrow dumplings, tuna tartare and a cheese plate. Five types of salads are available and three top-notch sandwiches including a chicken salad club, steak sandwich and Wagyu beef burger. Penne pasta or risotto are on the menu, as well as butter chicken, sautéed Dover sole meunière and pan-roasted poulet noir. A large menu of grilled cuts is available from the Wolfgang Puck steakhouse downstairs, including New York sirloin, filet mignon from Devon, and Castle of Mey lamb shops. There is a choice of four sauces, four toppings (such as bone marrow or stilton) and six sides to accompany each cut. Desserts range from medjool date cake to seasonal fruit crumble with vanilla bean ice cream. Late-night bites are selected from the all-day dining and breakfast menus, the latter of which includes some interesting dishes such as fried eggs over Parmesan polenta and pork belly, as well as ricotta-lemon blintzes.
