The Dorchester not only caters to children with its room service menu, it serves babies, too. The baby menu features a vegetable medley; minted peas and carrots; potato, chicken and broccoli; leek and potato soup; mixed berries and yogurt; bananas and peaches; and stewed apples and pears. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel’s kitchen can puree or finely cut any of the dishes.
The children’s menu offers starters and snacks such as cream of chicken and tomato soups, vegetables with dip and sweet or salty popcorn. Entrée selections are reliable standbys: fish fingers, fries and peas; penne or spaghetti with tomato or Bolognese sauce; sliders burgers with fries; macaroni and cheese; pizza with choice of toppings; hot dogs; and chicken nuggets. Of course, it doesn’t leave out dessert. Kids can get two scoops of ice cream, marshmallow and brownie sundaes, banana splits, milkshakes or go the less sugary route with fruit kebabs and a dipping sauce.
