The Ritz London’s turndown service makes you want to collapse into bed. The elegant blue and pink floral bedspread is removed, and the two top corners of the white sheets are folded to the center, so you can slip under the covers. But first, take the red “Do Not Disturb” sign off of your fluffy white pillow and hang its golden rope on the doorknob. A breakfast menu is left on your pillow as well, in case you want room service in the morning at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel. If you need laundry services, bags and instructions are left at the foot of the bed. The television is switched on to a channel with ads on it, and all of the lights are off except for the lamps on the two bedside tables. There, you’ll also find a bottle of The Ritz’s own water and a cup. White linen mats are placed on both sides of the bed, one holding white slippers with the London hotel’s insignia in navy and the other a velvety navy pair with the logo in white (our preference). Kick off those slippers and crawl into bed.
