What is the waiting area like at The Dorchester Spa?

It’s easy to miss the check-in desk when you walk into Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star The Dorchester Spa in London’s Five-Star The Dorchester hotel, thanks to the opulent surroundings that grace the entryway. The pearl chandelier is the focal point of the room, and arguably one of the most attractive pieces of art and furniture in the spa. White chairs, silver accents, glass tables and carefully crafted floral bouquets decorate the white marble entryway to the spa, ensuring all who enter know they’re about to be treated to something indulgent. The one-man check-in desks are positioned immediately to your left and right. After you check in for your spa treatment, you’ll be shown to the locker room where you can change and freshen up. About five to 10 minutes before your appointment, you’ll make your way to the waiting area, where you can lounge on the white sofas, enjoy some cucumber water and peruse the seemingly endless selection of fashion and glamour magazines.
