The Beverly Hilton has a couple of signature dinner dishes at the hotel’s famous Trader Vic’s Lounge. We love the vegetarian-friendly Thai red curry. This dish serves up eggplant, zucchini, carrots and peppers in a pool of slightly sweet coconut-milk broth mixed with red curry paste, Thai chilies and Kaffir lime leaves. You can opt to add in prawns, chicken or steak for an extra cost. Another tasty signature is the Indonesian rack of lamb, which is marinated with Javanese spice and served with peanut butter.
We also recommend adding on the delicious lobster dumplings —and a drink. Everything at the lively lounge tastes better when you wash it down with the signature drink — the mai tai, which was invented by Trader Vic’s.
