Not only does The Beverly Hilton have a pool, but it also boasts the largest heated outdoor hotel pool in Beverly Hills. Unlike many hotel pools that only go up to four feet, Aqua Star pool — a pool this famous deserves its own name — lets you plunge into water up to 10 feet deep. Open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, the odd-shaped, Olympic-sized pool is perfect for a swim and it’s conveniently near Aqua Star Spa. You can also relax on one of the plush white chaise pool chairs that line the pool or in one of the cabanas, which have been decorated with navy and white pillows and playful art pieces by designer and stylist Estee Stanley. In the summer, you can watch free “dive-in movies” poolside at dusk twice a week. The pool had a splashy grand opening in 1955 when starlet Esther Williams took an inaugural jump. These days, it’s better known as the spot where Angelina Jolie decided to take a swim in her Randolph Duke gown after she won a Golden Globe, and also the first hotel design project that has benefitted from the work of celebrity stylist Estee Stanley.
