The Beverly Hilton does not offer DVD players or video game systems in its rooms. However, the Four-Star hotel offers plenty of other entertainment. The hotel has 42-inch, HDTV plasma-screen LG TVs in all the bedrooms, as well as 13-inch LG TVs with LCD screens in the bathrooms inside Wilshire Tower and Cabana rooms. There isn’t pay-per-view in the rooms, but the hotel offers something better: Head down to the pool on summer nights where movies are shown twice a week at dusk. This is one of our favorite things about the hotel — seating usually begins around 7 p.m. and there are kid-friendly movies, too. Rooms also come with a Bose Wave Music System CD/radio player, and you can request an iPod docking station. Each room has wired Internet and Wi-Fi access, though you’ll have to pay $14.95 to get online for 24 hours (it’s free in the lobby and other public spaces).
Keep in mind that is one hotel where you won’t want to spend much time in your room. The star-studded hotel always has something going on — you won’t want to miss anything because you were holed up in your room.
