The Four-Star Beverly Hilton’s medium-sized gym packs a lot into its mirror-lined space. When you walk into the Beverly Hills hotel’s 1,650-square-foot gym, look left against a pumpkin-colored wall to see a station with headsets (so you can watch some TV while you’re on the cardio equipment), a basket with red apples, towels and a fridge with bottled water. There’s also a wall with light wooden cubbies and rods where magazines like Los Angeles Confidential and Angeleno hang. The rest of the gym is filled with Precor fitness equipment. You can do some cardio on the ellipticals, stationary bikes, treadmills or stair-climbers. Or flex your muscles with the weight-training equipment and free weights while you watch one of the two nearby big-screen HDTVs. The gym also has a small black-soft-tiled area where you can use stability, Bosu and medicine balls. Don’t be surprised if you see someone famous on the elliptical next to you; President Obama has worked out here.
