If you are at The Beverly Hilton to work rather than stake out celebrities, you’ll find a good space to get down to business. Regular rooms at the Four-Star Beverly Hills hotel have wooden oval-shaped desks that slightly swivel and a tan ergonomic chair. On top of the desk you’ll find a silver lamp with a moveable arm, and to its side sits a phone, a silver ice bucket and two glasses, as well as a handy control panel for easy plug-ins and Internet hookup. It’s nice not to have to crawl around on the floor to plug in a laptop. You’ll be able to access the hotel’s wired Internet and Wi-Fi from your room, but you’ll have to pay $14.95 for 24 hours and $70 for the week. Though if you head down to public spaces like the lobby, Lobby Bar (our pick) or pool, you can score free Wi-Fi there.
