The Peninsula Beverly Hills is a destination unto itself, so it’s no surprise this Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel is home to some upscale bars that attract locals and visitors alike. For a traditional bar atmosphere, head to The Club Bar, a cozy, dark-wood watering hole with paneling, a fireplace and comfortable booths. Share a plate of dim sum and sip on signature Peninsula cocktails like the Millionaire Margarita made with Patrón Silver, Grand Marnier Centenaire, fresh lime juice and wild tropical orange essence.
Head up to The Roof Garden for a garden-like atmosphere and a great view of Beverly Hills, plus poolside cocktails. Fruity drinks rule here, like the Pomegranate Mojito and recently added Sunset on the Roof made with Absolut Mandarin, blood orange purée and fresh lemon juice. It’s the perfect drink to sip while the island music is playing and the sun is — you guessed it — about to go down.
For the sophisticated set, there are evening cocktails accompanied by live piano music in The Living Room, located right off The Peninsula’s lobby. The elegant décor is the perfect backdrop for your nightcap.
The Club Bar at The Peninsula Beverly Hills is a favorite for cocktails, fine wines by the glass and “seeing and being seen.” With its wood-paneled walls, flickering fireplace and comfortable leather club chairs and sumptuous banquettes, The Club Bar has the look of a formal gentlemen’s club, but with a light Southern California touch.
At The Roof Garden, we have a small bar and fire pit that are popular gathering spots especially during the summer, when the sunsets are in Technicolor. Favorite cocktails are the Frozen Lemonade, the White Peach and Pear Martini and the Speckled Jalapeño Margarita.
Guests can also order drinks in The Living Room, which is a perfect setting for after-dinner drinks. Guests lounge on the sofas in front of the two fireplaces, and enjoy the music of our Resident Pianist, Antonio Castillo de la Gala.
