What special amenities are offered at The Peninsula Beverly Hills pool?

The Peninsula Beverly Hills’ outdoor rooftop pool offers various special amenities that you definitely need to enjoy during your stay. Your first stop for relaxation should be the outdoor Jacuzzi that sits at the end of the pool —  you’ll walk up a few stairs to get in and then take in the amazing view (and rays).
If you’re planning on spending a day at the pool but want a bit more privacy, rent one of the 12 cabanas. Lounging in one of these private sanctuaries for the day will set you back just $350 and gives you access to a private chaise lounge, a table with two chairs, a refrigerator stocked with beverages, fruit and snacks, plus a flat-screen TV, DVD player and cordless phone. Hitting the pool on one of Beverly Hill’s few non-85 degree days? There’s a heating and cooling system inside the cabana so you’ll always be able to relax comfortably.
The pool’s atmosphere is very garden-like, almost as if you’re in a friend’s backyard instead of at a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel. (And since only hotel guests are allowed to use the pool, it might be more like an exclusive backyard party.) Relaxed music with an island vibe plays — everything from reggae to pop music — so you’ll feel like you’re really on vacation. As far as other amenities go, sunscreen, towels and bottles of water are offered right as you check in at the pool area. Surrounding the pool are lounge chairs topped with comfortable padding and pillows, so you’ll have no problem dozing off between your dips.
Right next to The Peninsula’s pool you’ll find The Roof Garden, where you can grab a casual breakfast, lunch or dinner. The restaurant focuses on healthy, produce-packed meals like a butter lettuce and sweet mango salad topped with grapefruit, pine nuts, local herbs and a tarragon vinaigrette or a pepper-rubbed ahi tuna loin with celery and heirloom tomatoes. You can also grab cocktails at the bar, then sit around the fire pit — it’s the perfect spot for a romantic evening or a lunch gathering with a group of friends.

On the rooftop at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, we have a 60-foot swimming pool and Jacuzzi for guests. They may also reserve one of the 12 private pool cabanas, which are equipped with iPod stations, fans, safes and heaters. A staff member is on hand to provide all guests at the pool with cold drinks, water and anything they wish to order from the room service or Roof Garden menus. At the entrance to the pool, guests will find fresh fruit, sunscreen and the latest magazines to enjoy.
