The Macallan Whisky Bar & Lounge allows smoking — for now. The goverment of Macau’s Special Administrative Zone of China implemented an anti-smoking law in 2012 that bans smoking in most public places and indoors, except casinos. Saunas, massage lounges, dance halls and bars will have three years to prepare for full smoking ban. The Macau bar’s adajacent Davidoff Cigar Lounge is just the right spot to puff on a Cuban or Dominican stogie while you enjoy a smoky Islay whiskey.
The Davidoff has a large and well-curated range of smokes, including 19 brands and more than 140 types of cigars. Aside from Davidoff cigars, the lounge stocks some of the best brands, such as Cohiba, Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, Hoyo de Monterrey and Partagas.
