If you find eating warm bread one of the best pleasures in life, you won’t be disappointed with the bread and butter service at Aurora. The restaurant in the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Altira Macau offers a tempting selection of breads. The variety of fresh-from-the-oven selections appears as delectable as the appetizers and entrées — and they are. It actually might be the best bread you’ve had in a while; Forbes Travel Guide editors’ favorite was the slice with sundried tomatoes. However, choose the bread judiciously, as you know you’ll be sorry if you’re too full once your prawns, fish, or pasta arrive. The butter is the best Aurora could find, imported from France.
Nibble on some bread and butter service at Aurora while you’re waiting for your first course. Although we don’t offer any special bread and butter service, per se, we do provide all of our guests with a tasty selection of homemade bread (including French small baguettes, tomato focaccia, olive bread and bacon bread) served in a shimmery copper breadbasket. To complement your bread, choose from toppings such as vinaigrette, olive oil and sea salt or creamy butter from France. Don’t eat too much, though — you’ll want to save room for our dishes such as rack of lamb with orange and saffron celeriac, garden valerian leaves and verban sauce up to your final course of dessert, such as Italian cheesecake, citrus salad and peach.
