The best way to get to Aurora, if you are not already staying at Altira Macau, is by taxi, which are generally inexpensive and easy to find throughout the special administrative region of Macau. Aurora is a 10 to 15 minutes’ drive from the center of Macau and about 10 minutes from the new resorts of the Cotai Strip. If you are coming to Altira from Crown Towers, The Four Seasons or The Venetian, there’s a free shuttle to the restaurant. Although Altira does offer gaming, families with children can still go directly to Aurora by circumventing the casino, which is located on the bottom floors of the hotel with a separate entrance. If you decide to drive, there is complimentary valet parking for two hours.
Aurora’s location on Taipa Island puts us 10 minutes away from the Macau Ferry Terminal and Heliport, the Macau Lotus Bridge Border and the Taipa Ferry Terminal. We can be reached by several modes of public transportation. Cabs can be caught to take you to the restaurant, and once you reach the lobby of Altira Macau, the restaurant is accessible via dedicated elevators to take you right up. If you wish to drive to the restaurant, there is complimentary valet parking for two hours, with the first additional hour priced at HK$29 and the following hours priced at HK$10.
