From the dirty to the fruity, Aurora shakes up 12 different martinis on the bar menu. Our Forbes Travel Guide editors think the restaurant’s well-executed martinis are best enjoyed at the swooping bar that’s tucked away in the back of the restaurant: great spot for people-watching and taking in all the action of Aurora’s open kitchen. There’s also a beautiful outdoor lounge area, where on clear, pleasant nights you’ll enjoy sweeping views of the Macau Peninsula skyline over the South China Sea.
If you have a taste for rare wines or liquors, Aurora has that too. Aside from a Chateau Latour vertical collection from 1945 to 2005 valued at around HK$1.45 million (US$186,771) — some bottles in the vertical can be purchased individually, but others are only available with the entire collection — there are also 10 special Italian liquors on the menu that are satisfying as both aperitifs and digestifs.
