Aurora, one of four signature restaurants at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel Altira Macau, has dishes that’ll satisfy both the dietary constraints and Italian food cravings of vegetarians and vegans alike.
Generally there should be at least one or two veggie-friendly picks from Aurora’s wonderful selection of salads and antipasti, though you may have to ask your server to omit ham, chicken or seafood. Some of the sophisticated sauces chef Michele dell’Aquila serves with the restaurant’s housemade pasta are veggie-friendly, too.
Even if there are not an abundance of vegetarian or vegan options on the day you visit, don’t worry: the kitchen staff is happy to make special exceptions and whip up dishes that are not listed on the menu, so just explain your dietary restrictions to your server and let them take care of the rest.
At Aurora restaurant, we offer vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. The Italian cuisine provides numerous salad and pasta dishes, and Aurora is no exception. If you’re dining with us for lunch, start off with an appetizer such as buffalo mozzarella and Roman tomato with roasted bell pepper, garden vegetables and avocado. For a pasta dish, try something such as orecchiette with fresh cherry tomatoes, rocket salad and semi-hard ricotta cheese. The dinner menu also includes some vegetarian-friendly fare, such as the garden vegetable salad with buffalo ricotta, carrot coulis and bergamot oil.
