Golden Flower at Encore Macau is nothing short of extravagant. Executive chef Henry Zhang takes you on a tour of the country's culinary heritage, with traditional and modern Northern Chinese, Shandong and Sichuan dishes featuring premium ingredients like Wagyu beef, foie gras and caviar. Of course, tea plays a prominent role in China's culinary past and present, and a team of tea artisans — akin to sommeliers — will pair courses with blends from its collection of more than 50 teas from all over the country.

Not to be outdone by the kitchen, the flower-garden-themed dining room is a feast for the eyes. Parasol-shaped lighting fixtures at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant shine down over floral design touches, from bloom mosaics on the doors to chairs bearing florals.

Dining at Golden Flower at Wynn Macau is luxurious yet intimate. Attention to detail can be spotted in everything from the focused service to the creative décor.
Golden Flower is the only restaurant in Macau with a team of tea sommeliers. The tea artisans helps you choose the right tea to go with your palate, and they explain the philosophies behind tea drinking as they prepare and pour.
Enjoy classic dishes like braised fish maw with superior chicken broth, sliced sea conch with Sichuan pepper oil and crisp codfish with balsamic vinegar.
Huge floor-to-ceiling windows overlook a lush bamboo garden while over-the-top floral centerpieces adorn the tables, blurring the lines between indoors and out.
Two private dining rooms are also available for a more intimate setting while still maintaining a sense of luxury.

Things to Know

Though the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant is technically located along a busy road, the resort has built a garden as high as the tall windows that line the street-facing wall, which gives the space an intimate, peaceful feel.
The official dress code at Golden Flower is casual elegant, which means that the casual wear (like a sleeveless shirt and shorts) that some gamblers sport on the casino floor is a no-go here.
This is a degustation-only restaurant, so prepare for a parade of courses.
