There is no better place than Tenmasa at Altira Macau to see what Japanese tempura is really all about. Working off recipes handed down over generations from the original Tenmasa in Tokyo, chefs are trained to use all of their senses, including using sound to determine when foods have been fried to perfection. Specialties include tempura oysters, live abalone and king crab. Ingredients are flown in several days a week from Japan and the menu also includes Wagyu beef dishes, sushi and more. Making the restaurant feel even more authentic (and transporting) is the traditional tatami seating and tranquil views of the Macau peninsula.
