Altira Spa has a beautifully designed lounge area that’s stocked with magazines and is a wonderful spot for unwinding after a long, luxurious body treatment. Our favorite relaxation areas at this Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa, however, are the treatment rooms: private spaces perfect for post-treatment tea and snacks. We loved that we were welcome to relax in the room for as long as we’d like.
Treatment rooms at Altira Spa have their own private changing areas and lockers. If you’re interested in using the gym, pool, sauna or vitality pool, however, you’ll find that while those public locker rooms are spacious and well-kept, they don’t afford as much privacy as the treatment rooms.
Don’t forget to pack a swimsuit if you plan to use the pool and sauna — and we recommend that you do considering this Five-Star spa’s indoor infinity pool is one of the world’s best.
We offer our guests locker rooms in the treatment rooms and by the pool, gym, sauna and vitality pool. Those in the treatment rooms are private, allowing you to freshen up away from those using the other facilities and amenities. If you’re using the infinity-edge pool, gym, sauna or vitality pool, you will find a larger locker room equipped with showers and vanity areas. These locker rooms house the sauna and the vitality pool, so be sure to bring the proper attire in order to use these facilities.
