Delano South Beach’s main restaurant is the Italian-inspired Bianca. Visitors frequent the indoor/outdoor eatery for breakfast, lunch, dinner and its celebrated Sunday brunch. Standout plates from the lunch menu include the grilled hearts of romaine salad with your choice of organic chicken, grilled shrimp or salmon topped with lemon-Parmesan vinaigrette. Add a healthy portion of truffle French fries to your order and you’ll be extremely satisfied. For dinner, order the king salmon with organic farro risotto or opt for the tagliatelle, a handmade pasta infused with cream and seasonal truffles. Enjoy the buffet-style brunch outdoors and choose from waffles, bowtie pasta and meat sauce, salads, sushi, mini-desserts like tiramisu and more.
Another option is the dinner-only Umi Sushi & Sake Bar, where one communal table in a kitchen-inspired setting can be filled with the light and tasty big-eye tuna pizza with truffle oil and micro shiso, specialty rolls such as the Delano (wagyu beef, black truffle and poached main lobster) or FDR (tuna, yellowtail, crab, salmon and soy paper), and sashimi and nigiri selections like bluefin tuna belly and halibut. You can have small bites and drinks at the Rose Bar as well as Delano Beach Club, and if you just want to grab a cocktail, the South Beach hotel’s nightclub FDR at Delano offers libations such as the Appleton Rum (St. Germain, fresh lime and brown sugar) and the Bulleit Bourbon (ginger beer and peach purée).
