The gym at St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort is spacious with high-tech equipment and great amenities. The fitness center is divided between two rooms on the lower level of the Miami Beach hotel, one offering an area for cardio workouts and the other for strength training and individual, low-impact exercise. Swipe your room keycard to gain entry, and you’ll find yourself in a bright and airy space overlooking one of the hotel’s swimming pools. All cardio equipment is made by Technogym and includes treadmills, spinning bikes, seated bikes and elliptical machines, plus you’ll find a rowing machine by Concept2. All cardio machines feature personal televisions, and bottles of water, headsets and towels are neatly draped on each machine. Fresh apples and reading material like Miami, Bespoke, and The Wall Street Journal are also on offer should you want to supplement your workout with some reading. Across the hallway, try the Technogym weight machines, including two kinesis machines, to truly tone your muscles. Jump ropes, yoga balls, free weights and stability balls round out the equipment, but if you’re not the type for solo exercise, check out the hotel’s range of fitness classes. Beach FitCamp, Yoga Flow and Stretch + Sculpt are just a few of the weekly options available, and private sessions of everything from core to myofascial release are available upon request. If looking good in your swimsuit is a high priority, the gym at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel has you covered.
