Located on the fourth floor of Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Hakkasan Miami is a restaurant where the views are within the space, not outside of it. Hakkasan Miami doesn’t offer special, sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean like some of the famed hotel’s rooms do. But you will be able to catch an occasional glimpse of the sea — though most likely on your way to the powder room to freshen up. In the dining room at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star restaurant, dark wood tables and banquettes swathed in blue-gray leather are tucked behind walnut and teak latticed screens carved with Chinese designs, creating a maze of sectioned off, intimate nooks. The décor in the dimly lit space is chic and dramatic — much like the clientele who frequent the contemporary Cantonese restaurant, and we guarantee that it’ll spark conversation, at least until the food arrives. At that point you’ll have a whole new set of stimuli to admire.
