The relaxation lounge and locker room at Acqualina Spa by ESPA are amazing. First, you’ll be escorted to the locker room, where you will be able to change into your robe and settle into the relaxing environment. You’ll see as two changing rooms with lockers and a dressing counter that is stocked with amenities like razors, cotton swabs, and hair-styling products. At the end of the locker room are the wet areas, which include the luxurious steam room: it’s made of small mother-of-pearl tiles that curve into a comfortable seating area surrounding a crystal-topped foot rest. One of the unique features of the locker room is the ice shower, where you can scoop ice into a wash cloth to cool down before or after going into the steam room or sauna. The locker room also features ample showers and sinks for dressing after a day of pampering.

The relaxation areas are a continuation of the luxury you will find in the lounges at the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star spa. Plush chaise lounges with soft foot blankets are separated by bamboo dividers to provide a private space in which to relax in between treatments. The relaxation area is also stocked with magazines, newspapers, fruit, tea, and our favorite — warm cookies.
