Hôtel Quintessence’s La Quintessence Restaurant & Winebar is a joint two-venue spot presided over by chef Jean-Luc de la Bruère. The restaurant is one of Tremblant Resort’s most chic dining establishments, with a warm and sophisticated ambiance and one of the region’s most refined wine lists.
The formal dining room, La Quintessence Restaurant, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overlooking the boutique hotel’s terrace, gardens and Lac Tremblant, the French restaurant offers an ambiance is tailored yet welcoming (tables are topped with white cloth and the wood and stone design of the space add warmth) and a menu that’s comforting yet surprising. Expect everything from a starter of foie gras ice cream with pink salt to an entrée of shepherd’s pie with deer and wild boar and foie gras butter sticks.
Next door and serving the same dinner menu, the Mont-Tremblant hotel’s Winebar is more casual, with leather bar stools, deep arm chairs, the warm glow of candlelight and a roaring fire.
