Napa's trendy urban hub
183 Rooms / 40 Suites
Editor's Note: Archer Hotel Napa is scheduled to open in November.
While Napa is known for its sloping hills covered with vines, Archer Hotel Napa will try to attract guests to the city’s more urban downtown when it opens in November.
The boutique hotel will anchor First Street Napa, which will include 45 shops and restaurants, including Maris Collective, Lush and Napa Valley Jewelers.
The latest from the trendy brand that gave us Archer Hotel New York and Archer Hotel Austin, this outpost will decorate standard rooms with a lot of woods and soothing natural colors. Luxe touches include headboards inset with Austrian crystals, wine refrigerators, 49-inch LED HDTVs, Eurotop-padded beds and Nespresso coffeemakers.
A sliding frosted glass door opens to the bathroom, where you’ll find white-porcelain-tiled showers with pebble flooring and vanities with white quartz and dark brown marble tiles. Perks include Ursa Major face wipes, Malin and Goetz toiletries, Frette bathrobes and whimsical slippers adorned with either a mustache or painted lips.
Upgrade to one of the hotel's 40 suites to get balconies, fireplaces and soaking tubs.
This being Napa, food of course must be a standout at the luxury hotel. Charlie Palmer Steak will feature the beloved chef’s carnivorous fare with wine country flair (he also will handle room service, in case you don’t feel like leaving the confines of your room for a juicy steak).
Save time for a nightcap at the Rooftop, the five-story hotel’s alfresco space that offers fire pits and valley views. It surely will be a hot spot in Napa's new urban center.
