You’ll find great museums within walking distance of The Hermitage Hotel. The Frist Center for the Visual Arts opened in 2001 and is constantly bringing in new exhibits. The center is putting Nashville on the art map in a big way and kids will love the interactive gallery where they can paint watercolors and make sculptures.

The Tennessee State Museum is also located near the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel and offers interesting exhibits on the history of the state and its people. Permanent exhibits explore the Civil War and the age of Andrew Jackson. The museum also offers tours of the State Capitol.
