The Astor Court is adjacent to King Cole Bar.
While there is no bar inside The Astor Court per se, it’s conveniently located next to the King Cole Bar, a signature spot for a cocktail or a light bite inside The St. Regis New York. While the skilled barmen can make any cocktail you fancy, from a martini to a mojito, the King Cole Bar is best known as the place where the Bloody Mary — also called the Red Snapper — was perfected. A bar menu is available if you can find a spot to sit, and there is some overlap between The Astor Court and the menu offered here. Even if you don’t have time after your meal at The Astor Court for a drink, make a point to get a peek at the magnificent Maxfield Parrish painting Old King Cole that dominates the intimate space. The iconic painting, which contains a secret riddle, was commissioned in 1906 by John Jacob Astor.
