Lotte New York Palace

Classic comforts for the modern traveler
VERIFIED LUXURY
The moment you step through the Madison Avenue gates of the Villard Mansion and walk down the grand staircase, Lotte New York Palace’s motto, "old world elegance, new world opulence," clicks into place. First built as a luxury apartment building in 1882, the structure was transformed into a hotel in 1980.

Today, the spacious and sumptuously appointed rooms are comfortable and loaded with thoughtful touches. Marble bathrooms are de rigueur as are comfortable seating, work desks and large cozy beds.

If you’re ready to break the bank, Triplex Suites run up to 5,000 square feet and boast Art Deco décor and unforgettable views from their 18-foot windows and private rooftop terraces.

The Rooms
  • You can slumber peacefully in three kinds of rooms at Lotte New York Palace: Superior, Club and Tower Premier.
  • Superior rooms are decorated in neutral tones, like olive and off-white, and come with a marble bathroom, a seating area, a full-sized desk and one king or two double beds.
  • Club rooms are equipped similarly to the Superior ones but reside on a higher level and allow access to the Towers Club, a private lounge in the hotel that offers business and pleasure amenities.
  • Tower Premier rooms have many of the same features as the other room types, but they include deluxe bath amenities, sit on higher levels of the New York hotel and give you access to the Towers Club and a private reception area that provides dedicated service.
The Restaurants
  • Villard Restaurant offers a full a la carte breakfast and weekend brunch menu featuring exceptional New American fare crafted by chef Oscar Granados, warm service and a remarkable venue.
  • Savor macaroons, warm house-made croissants, mouthwatering éclairs and seasonal miniature fruit tarts while sipping on espresso or coffee before taking on the day's activities at Pomme Palais.
  • Sleekly built underneath Lotte New York Palace’s famed Lobby Grand Staircase, Trouble’s Trust is the perfect spot to grab an after-work or pre-theater cocktail.
  • Tavern on 51 evokes old New York in both its stylish décor and extensive vintage offerings. Modern cocktails can be had here too—try the Dublin Bishop, a mash up of Jameson, Guinness and a dash of Sorel liquor.
  • With original gilded ceilings from 1882, The Gold Room recalls a bygone era of grandeur in New York City. Live the high life by sipping on exquisite cocktails, such as The Carnegie (12-year single malt Scotch, Absinthe and lemon zest) or The Mrs. Astor (vodka, Campari, strawberry reduction and balsamic), paired with light but elegant bites like smoked salmon and camembert croquettes.
