It’s always a treat when you find a room service menu that exactly mirrors that of the hotel’s restaurant, and that’s what you’ll find at The Mark. Offering dishes from The Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges, you can enjoy tasty treats after you’ve explored and shopped the city streets. Best of all, room service is available 24 hours a day. For breakfast at the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel, you’ll find all the classics like eggs Benedict, French toast with sautéed apples, and Norwegian smoked salmon with grilled country bread.
Lunch becomes a bit more interesting with a raw bar featuring hamachi sashimi or chilled Maine lobster, appetizers like crispy calamari with lemon dip, warm beets with goat cheese fondue, assorted pizzas and pastas, steamed shrimp or shaved fennel salad. Heartier plates include the grilled tuna burger, the signature Mark burger made with black truffle dressing, or slowly cooked salmon with lettuce and carrot-ginger dressing. Pair them with wine or a signature housemade soda in flavors like cherry yuzu or calamansi. You’ll see several of the lunch options reappear on the dinner menu, but you’ll also encounter tempting entrées like grilled black sea bass with braised fennel and carrots, caramelized beef tenderloin with carrots and miso-mustard, and roasted lobster with Meyer lemon risotto and basil. It’ll be hard to save room for dessert after all that, but if you can squeeze just a little more in, definitely go for the butterscotch pudding with crème fraîche, caramel and sea salt — the perfect balance of salty and sweet.
