What are the beds like at The St. Regis New York?

When you stay at The St. Regis New York, don’t be afraid to come tired — the beds at this Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel are among the best we’ve ever stayed in and are sure to give you a great night’s sleep.

Beds feature cushy Serta pillow-top mattresses, covered with Egyptian cotton sheets and topped with king-size, overstuffed feather pillows. Our favorite part is the voluminous down duvet, piled up nearly a foot high, that makes crawling into bed look and feel like you’re sinking into a marshmallow. Most rooms also feature a flat-screen TV that rises from a panel at the foot of the bed with a press of a button. The bedside control panel makes staying in bed easy — you barely have to lift a finger to call the butler, change the temperature or turn off the lights. To say that the bed is comfortable would be selling it short — the beds at the New York hotel are so much more than that.
