New York sushi hot spot Masa serves a famed 26-course dinner menu full of exotic seafood and high-end toro, caviar and truffles that aren’t exactly kid-friendly. At $450 to $600 a head, it’s an expensive meal that wouldn’t appeal to most children’s palates.
While there’s no age requirement to dine at Masa, we wouldn’t recommend taking your child to the New York sushi restaurant unless he or she enjoys fish and can sit for a two- to three-hour meal. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant suggests 9 as an appropriate starting age, as the dining room doesn’t have high chairs or booster seats for younger children.
