Sushi hot spot Masa serves wine, sake, tea and water in a host of stylish glasses. Most of the wine stemware comes from Riedel, while the sake glasses are imported from Japan. If you order more than one kind of sake, you might be treated to a couple different glasses.
When we last visited the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant, we received our first serving of sake in a beautiful bamboo cup and our second in a clear, bubbly glass cup. If you fall in love with the sake glasses, some are available for purchase by calling Masa’s reservation line. There’s a limited supply of $35 hinoki wood sake glasses imported from Japan — the same light tan wood that tops Masa’s radiant sushi bar.
