Most everything is comfortable at Per Se — including the table arrangements. The main dining room’s 16 tables are set up with plenty of space between them, allowing you to enjoy an intimate dinner in the modern space without elbowing your neighbor — a real luxury for a New York restaurant. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant positions its tables in the two-tiered dining room to face the oversized windows, which offer views of Central Park and Columbus Circle. You’ll get a view no matter where you sit. Some of the tables have banquette-style seating, allowing for even more space to spread out, something you’ll appreciate during the long tasting. A couple of tables are also right in front of the fireplace. Be sure to ask when making a reservation if you have a preference.
