Along with the leaves and, well, the rest of the menu, the specialty cocktails at The Inn at Little Washington change seasonally. Though you can always order up your favorite cocktail, the mixologist concocts the recipes according to what is freshest at that point in time. The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant debuts a new cocktail menu each season. The menu is split into several sections: Flute, Straight Up and On the Rocks.
Summer concoctions include sparkling flavors such as the Forbidden Fruit, which is a combination of Hammer & Sickle Vodka, grapefruit, Bailly Lapierre sparkling rosé and a sugar cube soaked in cranberry bitters. The Straight Up category features a home-gown treat called Our Very Own Bee's Knees with Sunset Hills gin, Little Washington honey and lavender with a honey powdered rim. As for the On the Rocks portion of the menu, you'll find options such as The Four Horsemen, which includes Barbancourt eight-year rum, grapefruit soda, lime and Luxardo maraschino.
You’ll also find a variety of seasonal cocktails available, as well as plenty more creatively innovative concoctions. Whenever available, the restaurant uses as many local ingredients as possible, making for the freshest cocktails imaginable.
