Secluded high in the mountains surrounding Salt Lake City, Stein Eriksen Lodge is a great choice for enjoying the outdoors, making it different from other Five-Star hotels. The resort is ski-in, ski-out and has mountain-bike rentals onsite for easy access to the mountain in any weather, right out the back door. Other outdoor activities available at or near the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel include hiking, hot air balloon rides and plane rides.
This natural feel is reflected in the design of this Park City hotel as well, with exposed wood beams, high ceilings, stone fireplaces and lots of plants throughout the property. Outdoor corridors make the most of the Lodge’s stunning views, while hot tubs located on the terraces of some rooms offer you a chance to relax in the open air.
Our heritage makes us different. The lodge is named after Olympian Stein Eriksen, who took home the gold in slalom at the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo, Norway. As a native of Norway, Stein Eriksen has lived in the United States for the past five decades and Norwegian flairs can be scene throughout the hotel and spa.
