You’ll find Waldorf Astoria Park City’s sole bar located at Powder restaurant. Like the more formal dining area just around the corner from the white-marble topped counter, the classy bar is done up with dark woods, mohair walls and leather chairs. Glass tables and sparkling lights add a touch of glamour to the space, while our Forbes Travel Guide editors loved that a few rustic touches, such as a sculptural grouping of antlers on the wall, give clever context to the bar’s mountainous setting.
Small tables grouped together near the main bar are perfect for late-night small plates and après-ski cocktails, and the low-set upholstered chairs are ideal for stretching out after a long day of skiing or snowboarding. A wall of floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the landscaped pool courtyard and pool area keep the room from getting too dark, and if you want to catch up on the news or a big game there are also two flat-screen televisions. The bar is just one of many places where guests of this Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel feel right at home.
