Le Bonne Entente’s Monte Cristo L’Original restaurant offers haute cuisine in an elegant dining room overlooking the pool and hotel gardens. The house prides itself on its lavish local fare, especially the wagyu beef, an entrée prized for its richness and melt-in-the-mouth texture, served as an appetizer with cattail hearts, Jerusalem artichoke puree and black carrots. If you’re having difficulty navigating your way through the menu, a seven-course menu is available on request.
The restaurant is open Thursdays and Fridays from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 6 to 9 p.m. Parents wanting a bit of downtime at the dinner table can leave their kids at the Fun Club, which is free of charge with a reservation. In the summer, the Napa Grill on the hotel terrace offers grilled lobster, Cornish game hen and beef tenderloin, all cooked in an outdoor kitchen area. The Quebec City hotel’s bar, MC Lounge. offers finger food such as oysters and mini burgers, as well as main courses such as Barbary duck supreme, and lobster and crab mac and cheese. You can enjoy breakfast and lunch (Monday through Friday), and dinner daily, as well as weekend brunch at MC Lounge. It’s the hotel’s most popular eatery, so reservations are never a bad idea.
